Blaire attended Marlborough School in Los Angeles and NYU/The New School, studying theatre and film. Her career began at age 18 with a guest starring role in the second to last episode ever of Happy Days. She studied in New York with Actors Studio veterans Geraldine Page and Estelle Parsons, while performing a wide range of roles at Playwrights Horizons, Ensemble Studio Theatre and The Roundabout, by night and by day, playing "Kate Lang" on "The Guiding Light". She has guest starred in over 30 television shows and has worked for A-List directors like Ivan Reitman, Nancy Meyers, Penny Marshall, Gary Marshall, James Bridges, Larry David and Michael Mann. Blaire recently won Outstanding Achievement in Playwrighting for The Milk Meetings (Ophelia Theatre Co, NYC). Before its New York Premiere, the Milk Meetings was a hit on Holllywood's Theatre Row, debuting in Spring of 2014. Blaire's play Outspoken: Shakespeare in Shackles has been called back for an encore run after standing room only houses this fall on Hollywood's Theatre Row; Her short play, The Below, debuted at the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival and became a finalist at the 2015 New York New Works Festival in August. Blaire wrote Women In Boxes, an award-winning documentary about magician's assistants. She has won numerous screen-writing awards (Atlanta, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Beverly Hills, Nicholl (semifinals) Blaire is widely known for her work as Founder/Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Drama Club (the youngest Shakespeare Troupe in the U.S.) for which she has received awards and honors - most recently from PBS as their Commuinty Champion. Now Hollywood looks for L.A. Drama Club students when casting.. Recently 6 of her students were scouted and cast in the Indie Film, Eat Spirit Eat - Blaire was also cast. Blaire created and produced the Documentary, Women In Boxes, about Magic assistants. The only film in which Teller Speaks on Camera.
