Building bridges based on the belief that film becomes art only when its materials are as inexpensive as pencil & paper. Cine Pobre Film Festival is the 100% cartel-free intersection of culture and capabilities.
Born in 1988 in Carpi, after his degree in Cinema and Fine Arts at Bologna University, he keeps working as a videomaker, settling a partnership with some of his former university fellows and shooting short films which take part in national competitions and festivals. In 2011 he shoots "Caccia al Lupo - A Dangerous Plan of Love", a short movie meant to be an unusual tribute to Lupin III.
After the earthquake of 2012 which struck Lombardia and Emilia Romagna, and his own town, Moglia, Sala decides to prepare his first full-length film whose production will end in March of 2014. This one is "Non Scordarti", a fictional story set in real locations, produced with a very low budget thanks to the cooperation of Moglia inhabitants and local actors. The movie is then self-distributed, raising some funds for the reconstruction.
