Aziz Nesin – writer, dissident, intellectual, humanist.
A portrait of a man constantly speaking up for democracy, freedom and peace celebrates his 100th birthday.
His work and dream still live on in the Nesin Foundation – a place for children to grow up to be responsible, thinking human beings.
The interview of the film was recorded in July 1993 just a few days after the massacre in Sivas where 32 artists were killed in a fire caused by a mob of fundamentalists.
