A man and woman recall their journey through partner dancing festivals in the Western United States, immersing the viewers in dance.
It tells two stories simultaneously that move in opposite directions.
On the surface, it explores an emerging subculture of dancers who travel to stunning natural landscapes to set up dance floors that exist for only one night.
But as the film delves deeper into the journey, we realise the couple is using dance to come to terms with separation.
The journey reflects on our longing for connection, intimacy and being present, and ultimately on how fleeting they are.
