The story of a close-knit family split up by the Cuban Revolution, this is a beautiful and emotional account about family and history.
When the revolution in 1959 transpires, three out of five cousins leave Cuba in disagreements with the government- and all connection is lost for over thirty years.
Tragedy strikes when one of them is killed in the Vietnam War.
Eventually, blood ties and love prove to be stronger than any differences or resentment.
Told by the remaining four cousins, they talk about their families and how the Revolution and their exile affected their lives, how they found out about the death of one of them, and how life was different since then.
