The singers, mimes, dancers, comedians and human statues along Seventh Avenue in Bogota, Colombia represent a cultural heritage that is priceless.
Yet for the price of a coin (or less if you don’t have one) they inspire magic, happiness, comedy, tragedy, feeling and passion in the downtown area of Colombia’s capital city.
By democratising art and culture they illuminate the lives of the working class who can’t afford to go to the theatre or a concert.
This documentary tells their stories, which are often tough, of how these characters came to share their love for art thanks to their reason for existence: the people.
