Short animation reflecting the January 2014 West Virginia American Water water crisis in Charleston, WV, USA, where thousands of gallons of MCHM, a product used to clean coal, ended up in our tap water, and contaminated the drinking water of 300,000 people.
The water could not be used for drinking or bathing for 3 weeks, driving people from their homes and closing businesses.
There is still some debate as to the safety of the water.
The last half of the cartoon was produce during the crisis, with the first half being made some months later.
