The moving story of crossing the borders of one’s aspirations in order to fulfill one’s dreams. The main character in the film, Weronika, is a young, outstanding and talented dancer.
Since she was 10 years old ballet has been her entire life, day in day out, striving for excellence.
Weronika’s private life, pain, loneliness and exhaustion remain somewhere in the background, brushed aside, until she suffers from a serious injury just 2 days before her performance at the Berlin Opera that is so vital to her career.
