The film tells the story of the birth of surfing culture in Brazil, and the American and Peruvian influences on the sport.
With the longboard as the the central topic, surfing pioneers in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, recall their surf memories, going as far back as the late 1950's.
The first waves ridden on the Santa Catarina coast, the resurgence of long boarding in the 1980's, and the variations in modern surfing form are some of the themes discussed by some of the biggest names in Brazilian and world surfing, with filming taking place in California, Peru, Costa Rica, and Brazil.
