Building bridges based on the belief that film becomes art only when its materials are as inexpensive as pencil & paper. Cine Pobre Film Festival is the 100% self-funded intersection of culture and capabilities.
Native Belarusian, Volya graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in 2010 with degree in Photography with emphasis in Fashion Photography. Volya was a featured photographer in "Good Pictures" rubric of the House Studios: "with a knack for capturing moments of the surreal and beautiful, featured photographer Volya Dzemka's dreamlike imagery is a wonderful collaboration of elements from the past, present, and future. Classically chic while simultaneously contemporary, Dzemka's photographs provide a charming glimpse into both fantasy and the here and now."
Volya's fascination with beauty created by light and camera sensor moved beyond still imagery - to the world of motion pictures, films and videos. She returned to the Art Institute to work on her Bachelor degree in Fine Art majoring in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production.
Currently Volya is working on the feature length documentary "The Songs of Old Europe - Ancient Belarusian Folk Songs", expected release date 04-09-16.
