Tom began producing award-winning shorts and music videos in 2003 with Autumn Haze Pictures and began writing is own TV pilots in 2007 under the Hot Lather Productions banner. Moving to Los Angeles in 2012, he began writing feature films and shorts. "Synesthesia" is one of four short films in an ambitious slate that Tom executive produced simultaneously in early 2016. The slate also included the epic sci-fi short "Reclamation," which he also wrote, and two comedies, "Game Night" and "Spouse Switch," written by Rachanee Lumayno. Tom also edited much of the film.
