a three-time Sundance Lab finalist, a Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist and one of the 10 writers chosen by the Black List for the inaugural Cassian Elwes Fellowship. His sci-fi rom-com short, "Bunker," screened at festivals around the world and is distributed by Shorts International. He also created My Damn Channel's award-winning horror-comedy web series "Co-op of the Damned." "The California No" is his first feature film. Ned is also a member of the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association and a producer for MTV's "TRL." He studied creative writing at Columbia University, and he thinks directing should always be done wearing a tie.
