born in 1986. She studied industrial design but her passion for the cinema took her to the different path of script writing and filmmaking. After some experiences as assistant director and writing for shorts, features and TV shows, she started to direct her own films. After three experimentation with mobile cameras, resulting three short films, she made Homa and Sister, a continuation of the earlier experiments in the context of a low-budget, underground cinema in Iran.
