Into sleep

The crisis has repressed Italy to the point that, nowadays, a widespread and clear frustration is swallowing the unemployed young generation.

Someone is suffering so bad, not only from an economical point of view, but even morally and emotionally: depression and powerless feeling have overwhelmed people's mind. Loosely based on the atmosphere and the novel written by Banana Yoshimoto, "Into Sleep" is the story of a young woman whose refusals are getting chronic and stick to her body like a narcoleptic depression.

Sleep seems to be sometimes a curse, other times, her last consolation; therefore, any reactions have been swallowed by the torpor.

Her boyfriend is not helping her at all: he thinks, erroneously, she doesn't want to react.

But, as a matter of fact, she is just a victim of the lose of self confidence created by the society and the terrible economical time. Getting up has never been so hard.
