Sigit Pradityo was first interested in making films when he graduated high school he made a short film with friends during a riot in Indonesia in 1998 he was made a detective short film with a camcorder. Since then Sigit always get orders for student film at his College .Sigit studied in product design that has nothing to do with film making . His first short film who edited and with original music titled “Kotak” (Box) duration of 30 minutes. Sigit make a film documentary about treasure hunter in Indonesia but never been release. Sigit made a graphic novel titled "Satrio Piningit "(Hidden Knight) based on the story in the documenter film that he never release . Sigit studied film by attending some film workshops and active in the film community and Sigit also studied film when he worked as film extras when he was stay in United States. Sigit made several music video for known indie bands in Indonesia. Some of his short film screen in a " Standing Theatre" some kind of box standing cinemas who he made with his friends and show case it in some event in Jakarta. Sigit previous short film are Kotak(2002), Kultus (2010), Robot Ngisup,Clown,The Holy Woman (2011). Sigit also lectures some film workshops several times title "How to make low budget films". Kurung Manuk is his first feature length film.
