A young man in Haiti considers his options for the future: should he stay in the community where he grew up, or should he join the exodus abroad in search of better opportunities? This film seeks to recreate the feeling of a particular place at a particular moment in time, juxtaposing audio from interviews with images from the Haitian city of Saint-Marc to create a moving portrait of a young man's thoughts, dreams, and desires at a crucial moment in his life.
