Ocean Connectors Mini Documentary (USA, 2014, 7:40 min.) This is a mini documentary about a non-profit environmental education program (OCEAN CONNECTORS), that links youth in underserved communities along the Pacific Coast.
Ocean Connectors works with children in National City, California, U.S.A., and Southern Nayarit, Mexico, to create global awareness and inspire environmental stewardship.
Narrated by the founder FRANCES KINNEY, this video describes how Ocean Connectors uses migratory sea life to educate and connect children living in different areas.
Classroom activities, field trips, and “knowledge exchanges” are used to teach children how to protect the coastal environment.
Directed and produced by Roosevelt Palafox.
